Why We're Different & Better Than Other Marketing Agencies: We Focus On The Low Hanging Fruit
The reason why we get the amount of clients & results we get is because a lot of businesses have been burned by marketing agencies who are doing things backwards, or, doing nothing at all. Whereas most other marketing agencies focus on longer-developing strategies, like blogging, city pages and maybe some link building, our philosophy is different. We focus on low hanging fruit with a combination of paid lead generation campaigns and Local SEO optimizations.

Basic Blogging
In the 10+ years we've been consulting insurance agencies, we've yet to see an agency who is having real success with blogging. And it's not always their fault. The reality is, it's never been harder to rank content in organic results, and Google is now riddled with AI generated content that is actually much better that most human-written blogs on the internet.
The sad reality is, ranking a blog in the top 3 search results in a very competitive industry (insurance/financial/lending/home services) is a pipe dream. It can take years to rank content in Google even if it's great content. But most content is average at best, so imagine how long that takes to rank? You guessed it…never.
Also, the rate at which Google tests and changes things in search is past the point of being frustrating….its now borderline comical. The latest volatility has crushed rankings for millions of sites across the web while Google's new AI Overview feature is siphoning traffic away from millions of websites.
Creating content that no one will ever see is a great way to waste a TON of time, and a TON of money
What's more, blog content is typically written to answer questions and satisfy informational search queries, not purchase-intent queries, and thus, blogs typically don't convert visitors into leads like landing pages and direct-response advertising.

Sadly, no matter how good your blog content is, it's not going to out-rank the larger multi-national carrier brands, comparison sites, review directories, etc.. They have way more domain authority and the truth is, Google prefers large brands over smaller business websites. Your blogs are not outranking Allstate, StateFarm, The Zebra, Liberty Mutual, etc.
In 2025 and beyond, blogging is not something you should be paying someone to do for you. Doing it yourself? Sure! Just understand that at best, it's a long-term strategy (that most likely won't even work).
Ask yourself…how many long form blog articles have you read lately? Consumer behaviors have shifted big time in the last 5 years. People simply don't have the attention spans to consume written content. Video is the future of SEO.
Organic Social Media Posting
You may or may not know this but Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn are actually ad networks masquerading as social media platforms. If you think you're going to get broad exposure for FREE, think again. These platforms' algorithms are specifically tuned to FILTER OUT over 90% of your organic reach. Why? This is intentional. These platforms survive solely from ad revenue, and thus, the are not going to let you skate for free.
Ever wonder why that post you just pushed out to your Facebook page got 2 likes and no leads? That's why.

In other words, posting content (even great content) to your social media pages gets virtually zero reach. Zero engagement. Zero results.
If you want people to see your content on social media, you have to pay for it. You have to run ads. That's a fact. Otherwise, the only people liking your posts will be you and your friend from high school. Sad, but it's very true because of how social algorithms work.
Newsletters
Honest question…when is the last time you read a newsletter, other than maybe proof reading your own? Newsletters are like carrier pigeons compared to other marketing channels. They are a thing of the past. I love my insurance agent! He's like family to me, but if he sent me a newsletter about insurance, I would delete it faster than the speed of sound. Your clients and prospects DO NOT want to read your newsletter. Sad, but true.
Email Outreach
Email marketing was a viable & super cost-effective marketing channel for years, but once people began to "abuse the system" it went downhill fast. This will eventually happen to SMS marketing. These days, its virtually impossible to get someone to give you their email. They know what's on the other side — an endless stream of digital junk mail that they don't care about and will quickly unsubscribe from.
And because of advanced spam filtering its even harder for your emails to actually reach someone's inbox. Bottom line is, email marketing simply doesn't work like it used to, if at all, and certainly doesn't work for insurance related content that most consumers feel is dry and boring.
